MY REVIEW:
All I can say is OMG!  I LOVED this book! I guess that isn't saying much because I honestly LOVE all of Lizzy Ford's books.  She's an amazing writer!  Chace is smoking hott!  Literally!  He's one of the last remaining Dragon Shifters left in the world, one of but a couple hundred shifters of any kind left at all.  He has little control over his shifting powers, even though he has been a shifter for 1000 years due to a curse. In a case of mistaken identity on his part, he tries to protect Skylar from another shifter.  Little does he know that Skylar is the last remaining Dragon Slayer!  After one hot hookup, they find out the truth about each other, but it's already too late to try to keep the sparks from igniting.  Like a moth to a flame, they're drawn to each other on a level neither can quite explain.  Chace quickly figures out something is not quite right with Skylar, her memories and knowledge of the shifter race are so far off, he knows that someone has altered them.  Sklyar doesn't believe him, and a journey to discover the truth unfolds. The secondary characters (Mason, Dillon, and Gunner) are very intriguing.  I hope they get their own book.  Full of twists and turns and some steamy sex, this story kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting more.    I can not wait for book 2 - Charred Tears - hopefully it comes really soon!
